Consultant Pulmonologist with over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience in Respiratory Medicine. Her work covers chronic cough, asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, sleep-related breathing disorders, allergic respiratory disease, pleural disorders, and other complex pulmonary conditions. Special interests include Sleep Medicine, Tuberculosis, Interventional Pulmonology, and pleural disease; she has also researched pulmonary manifestations of Long COVID and developed allergy services through Skin Prick Testing and Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT). She is Professor and Head of Pulmonology at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and Hospital, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students, has supervised more than nine MD dissertations, and serves as a university examiner. A clinical researcher with Government of India–funded work and publications in national and international journals, she is a member of the Indian Chest Society (ICS) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS).
